TODAY/TONIGHT: Today we will be starting out with some clear skies, but the clouds will be increasing throughout the morning. This afternoon we will be cloudy to mostly cloudy. Highs will be in the lower 30’s today as more of a southerly wind picks up, driving in a little heat.
Tonight we will see a clipper begin to slide into the region, which will bring a 40% chance of some scattered light snow showers tonight. The Arrowhead and Northern Wisconsin will have the best chance of waking up with a light coating of snow. Lows will be in the mid to lower 20’s.
WEEKEND: Saturday we will be seeing cloudy skies and mild temperatures. Highs will be in the mid-30’s with winds out of the NW 5-10mph. There will be another 40% shot of some scattered light snow showers in the afternoon/early evening as well. On Sunday we will see our next blast of cold Canadian air. Temperatures will be falling throughout the day, into the teens in the afternoon with wind chill values in the single digits. Winds will be out of the northwest 10-15mph.
MONDAY: Monday morning we will start out in the single digits above, and possibly some below, zero temperatures! Highs will be in the teens with partly sunny skies and breezy winds.
TUESDAY: Tuesday morning could be a few degrees colder than Monday morning! We will have sunny skies and calmer winds on Tuesday. Winds will also become more southerly, so temperatures will climb into the lower 20’s.
