TODAY/TONIGHT: Today we will start out with cloudy skies and mild-ish temperatures. However, a large low will be pushing through the region and bringing widespread heavy rainfall across the region. We will see the rain push in from the south later this morning. By noon we will be seeing rain in the Ports. We will see between 0.75-1.25” of rain in the Ports by the end of the day. Winds will also be very breezy out of the east 15-25mph gusting 45mph. Large waves on Lake Superior could lead to some erosion/lakeshore flooding in some spots.
Tonight we will continue to see rain showers off an on. Lows will be in the 30’s and 40’s with winds calming down and turning NNE 5-10mph.
TUESDAY: Tuesday we will see the low departing, leaving us with some rain and dropping temperatures. There will be a 70% chance of some scattered rain showers and a slight chance a few folks could see some mix late Tuesday. Winds will be out of the northwest 10-20mph, bringing in colder air that will drop temperatures into the 30’s in the afternoon.
WEDNESDAY: On Wednesday we will see mostly cloudy skies and chilly temperatures. Highs will struggle to make it out of the 30’s. Winds will be out of the northwest 10-15mph, making it feel like 20’s at times.
THURSDAY: Thursday we will see some clearing skies to become partly cloudy to mostly sunny. Highs will be in the lower 40’s with northwest winds continuing.
