Rain chances into the weekend

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

TODAY/TONIGHT: Today we will be seeing partly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the mid to lower 70’s for most of the region. Winds will still be out of the ESE 4-8mph, which will keep it a bit cooler by the lake. There will be a very small chance of a stray shower across Northeast Minnesota this afternoon, otherwise we should be dry.

Tonight we will see partly clear to partly cloudy skies. Lows will fall into the mid-50’s with calm winds.

THURSDAY: Thursday we will start out with some sunshine, but see increasing clouds to become partly sunny in the afternoon. There will be a 30% chance of some scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon as well. Highs will be in the mid-70’s. We will continue to see chances of scattered storms into the evening hours as well.

FRIDAY: On Friday we will see a 50% chance of some scattered showers and thunderstorms across the region and throughout the day. Highs will be in the mid-70’s with winds out of the ESE 5-10mph.

WEEKEND: This weekend looks a bit bumpy and the models are not in agreement about chances of rain. So right now I’m putting Saturday under a 40% chance of some scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s with partly sunny skies. Sunday we will see a 20% chance of some showers and storms, but again, that could change and go up or down. Highs will be in the mid-70’s.
