TODAY/TONIGHT: The atmosphere will be primed for more severe weather today. The SPC, Storm Prediction Center, has an enhanced risked of severe weather across East-Central Minnesota and most of Northern Wisconsin and into the U.P.. Main concerns will be very large hail and tornadoes. Temperatures will be well into the 80’s with dew points in the upper 60’s and 70’s, so it will be hot and humid today. Storms should begin to fire off this afternoon, so please keep checking back with us for updates!
Tonight we will see chances of showers and thunderstorms through midnight, then some clearing. Lows will be in the 60’s with winds out of the NNE 3-6mph.
WEEKEND: Saturday we will see partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. There will be another 30% chance of some scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, but risk of severe weather is pretty low. Winds will be out of the WNW 5-15mph with highs in the mid-70’s. Sunday we will see Partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid-70’s with winds out of the NNW 5-10mph.
MONDAY: Monday we will see high pressure in place to bring mostly sunny skies! Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s with fairly calm winds.
TUESDAY: Sunshine and calm weather continues into Tuesday! Highs will be in the lower 80’s, so we will start to warm back up again.
