A nice big ridge builds from the west and clears us up tonight. Low temperatures are down to the upper 20s to low 30s. Expect a few clouds in Ironwood and Mercer with a northwest flow around 5-10mph.
Warm air pushes into the Northland from the west getting our high temperatures into the upper 50s to low 60s. Lakeside locations will be about five degrees cooler. Expect plenty of sunshine for the day and winds out of the west at 5-10mph.
There’s a shortwave in the jet stream to our north. This helps bring in even warmer air! Morning lows are in the upper 30s and highs reach the upper 60s. The shortwave brings a chance of showers for areas around the Iron Range and points northward, around a 40% shot. To the south expect just some clouds.
In the morning our lows are in the low 40s, so pretty warm! Then some cooler air filters in from the north. Highs are in the upper 50s. Some models are hinting at a chance of some showers, both overnight Saturday into Sunday morning, as the weak cold front passes, and then again in the afternoon and evening Sunday as a stationary boundary sets up. Chance of showers are at 40%.
We look warmer than average with lows in the mid 30s and highs in the mid 50s. Skies are partly cloudy as we are in-between systems with no major lifting mechanisms in the region.
Tuesday we have a small ridge in the jet stream that keeps us dry. Morning lows are down to 33 and highs are up to 57.
