TODAY/TONIGHT: Today we will see high pressure in place to bring sunny skies to the region! Temperatures will also be very mild with highs climbing into the upper 50’s and lower 60’s! That said, by the lake temperatures will still be a bit cooler topping out in the upper 40’s and lower 50’s. Winds will be out of the west, but pretty calm at 4-8mph.
Tonight we will see increasing clouds. Then a 20% chance of some spotty showers and patchy fog after midnight. Lows will be in the 30’s.
WEDNESDAY: A low pressure system will swing out of the Central Plains and into the Upper Midwest on Wednesday to bring an 80% chance of rain showers to the region. There could be some isolated thunder across the southern half of the region as well. Highs will be in the mid-40’s in the Ports a breezy wind out of the east keeping us cooler.
Rain will continue into Wednesday night and Thursday morning, with some rain turning into more of a mix.
THURSDAY: Thursday morning there will be a 40% chance of some lingering wintry mix showers. Then there will be just mostly cloudy skies with decreasing clouds into the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-40’s with winds out of the north 10-15mph.
FRIDAY: Friday we will see highs pressure return to bring sunny skies! Highs will also be able to climb into the upper 50’s and lower 60’s! It’s going to be a warm weekend with just some slight chances of scattered showers.
