Mild temperatures and some snow tomorrow

TODAY/TONIGHT: Today we will be seeing mostly sunny skies to start the day, but some increasing clouds to become partly sunny this afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the lower 20’s for most of the region! Winds will be out of the west 5-15mph.

Tonight we will have mostly cloudy to partly clear skies. Lows will fall into the single digits with winds out of the WNW 3-6mph.

 

FRIDAY: Clouds will continue to thicken up on Friday morning as out next round of light snow pushes in. We will see a 60% chance of snow in Duluth, higher chances to our south. The snow will start between 10am-1pm in Duluth and last through the afternoon. We should see it subside after 6pm. New accumulations will be between 1-3” from the Ports and south, less than an inch to our north. Highs will be in the upper teens with northeast winds 4-8mph.

 

WEEKEND: Saturday we will see partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. However, there will be another blast of cold air as well. Our highs will likely be mid-day, then decreasing temperatures through the afternoon along with breezy northwest winds 10-20mph.

 

Sunday we will start out in the teens below zero with some lingering breezy winds make it feel colder. But, we will see some sunshine on Sunday and highs in the single digits.

 

NEXT WEEK: Monday will also be cold with single digit highs, but we will also see a slight chance of some flurries. Temperatures should gradually warm up through the end of the week.
