Above average temperatures to start the week!

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

TONIGHT:

Tonight we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with light flurries along the North Shore. Temperatures will be in the mid to low 20s. Winds will shift to the SW at 5-10 mph.

SUNDAY:

High pressure builds in for Sunday, however clouds will hang around due to a shortwave in the jet stream. Northern Wisconsin and the U.P. could see some sunshine in the beginning of the day, otherwise mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will reach to a high near 30 degrees. Winds out of the SW at 5-10 mph.

MONDAY:

Another mild day for Monday as we reach high temperatures in the low 30s. We’ll start to see a north westerly flow allowing for some lake effect for Wisconsin, and Minnesota will see partly sunny skies. Lows that evening will drop into the upper teens.

TUESDAY:

As a low pressure system passes to our North there is a chance for light snow along the borderland Tuesday afternoon. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies with high temperatures in the mid to upper 20s. As the low pressure system departs temperatures will begin to plummet. Lows for Tuesday night will be down in the single digits.

LOOKING AHEAD:

This cold air will stick around for the rest of the week, as we only get to a high near 12 degrees on Wednesday and low temperatures will be dropping below 0 for northern areas. Thursday there is a 20% chance right now for some light snow to pass through as temperatures will be in the low teens. More sunshine returns on Friday and into the weekend, as our low temperatures will fall to single digits below 0.
