A quiet stretch begins: Jenna Lake’s forecast

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Tonight:
Things are going to get cold tonight thanks to clear skies and light winds out of the WSW. We’re looking at temperatures of 2 below zero up on the hill in Duluth and similar temperatures around the area.

Friday:
We can expect some more sunshine on Friday to end the week with high pressure continuing to dominate our area. There will be some flurries possible throughout the day but little to no accumulation is expected. We’ll see a high of 20 degrees with winds out of the SW 5-10 miles per hour. Temperatures on Friday night will fall into the upper single digits.

Saturday:
A sunny day is expected for Saturday with highs in the mid twenties. Winds will be out of the West at 5-10 miles per hour as high pressure continues to be present. Temperatures on Saturday night will be near 11 degrees.

Sunday:
There will be both sun and clouds for the end of the weekend with temperatures in the upper 20s. Flurries will likely be present but I am not expecting accumulation. Temperatures will drop down into the teens.

Monday:
Mostly cloudy skies will return on Monday to start out your workweek. It will also become a little bit more breezy with winds out of the SW 10-15 miles per hour. Temperatures will reach into the upper 20’s.

Tuesday-Thursday:
Temperatures will linger around the low 30’s for mid week next week. I have my eye on a low pressure system that may clip us from the North on Wednesday.
