Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

TONIGHT:

The showers and thunderstorms will move out of the area. The winds will shift from the South to the West and that will bring less humid air and cooler temperatures. Winds will be Southwest 10-15 mph, and the low temperature will get down into the 50s.

SUNDAY:

The winds finally shift and it will feel like fall. Highs staying in the 60s and a breezy West wind 10-15 mph that could gust over 25 mph. There is some instability aloft in the afternoon that could pop up a quick shower, but there is only a 20% chance and we will have mostly cloudy skies.

MONDAY:

It will feel a lot like Sunday with highs in the upper 60s only nicer. Less windy, Northwest wind 5-10 mph and less clouds, partly cloudy skies and no chance for any rain.

MIDDLE OF THE WEEK:

There is a low pressure system that arrives Tuesday afternoon and it won’t exit the area until Wednesday around noon. There is a 30% Chance on Tuesday and 40% Chance for Wednesday. Highs Tuesday will be near 70 and Wednesday will be much cooler with highs in the low 60s.

END OF THE WEEK:

Less of a chance for rain and the temperatures stay cool in the low 60s which is close to normal.

I have lived my entire life in Maine, just North of Portland in the town of Freeport. I studied Meteorology at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire and minored in Mathematics. I have been interested in Meteorology since I was about 5 years old. I played hockey until college and I played baseball throughout my time at PSU. So far I have loved the Duluth area and I'm excited for lots of snow and -60 degree windchills.
