Duluth man featured in Apple commercial

DULUTH, MN – A new commercial features a Duluth man and his story about how his Apple Watch saved his life.

“I actually woke up from a notification from my Apple Watch that said my heart rate was above what my limit was for a period of rest,” Michael Jackson states in the 90-second Youtube commercial.

Jackson says following that notification he was taken to the emergency room and treated for life-threatening Sepsis.

“I’ve always admired Apple, but I never thought that I would have ever admired Apple for potentially saving my life,” Jackson said in the video.

The Duluth East and College of St. Scholastic grad has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

As of Thursday evening the video had more 35,000 views.
