Training camp tour: Duluth Denfeld Hunters

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

DULUTH, MN – For the first time in 40 years, the Duluth Denfeld football team will not be impacted by coach Frank Huie.

Erik Lofald has taken over the coaching duties after being an assitant for the past six years. He’s bringing a new approach, with the motto “Hunter Pride”.

“We’re going to try to do some things different. We want to be dynamic, we want to play fast, we want to play free. A lot of the things are new for the kids, especially for the seniors,” said Lofald.

“Coming in this year, you know being with Frank for the last three years, and now some of the tweaks that we’ve brought to it. But having known these kids I think has helped our transition too.”

The Hunters will open up at home against Aitkin on Thursday, August 29.
