Huskies close out first half with comeback win over St. Cloud

DULUTH, MN – The Duluth Huskies closed out the first half of the Northwoods League season with an 8-7 comeback win over the St. Cloud Rox.

Duluth trailed 3-1 after one, which later became a 7-1 deficit to open the game. The Huskies stormed back to tie the game, and later win with a go-ahead sac fly in the bottom of the eighth inning.

They finish the first half with a 13-23 record, at last place in the Great Plains East Division.

The Huskies open the second half on Wednesday, July 3rd with a home match up against the Willmar Stingers.
