Danielle Kohlwey reflects on her historic UMD career

DULUTH,MN –  UMD’s Danielle Kohlwey and Haleigh Reindl are heading to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships. The two Bulldog track stars have started their journey to Kingsville, Texas. David coy caught up with Kohlwey to reflect on her historic UMD career.

The Holmen,WI native is the current UMD captain. She’s competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championship for the last three years. In 2018, she finished 3rd in the 100 meter hurdles.

Kohlwey is the 2019 NSIC Track Athlete of the Year and holds the conference record for the 100 meter hurdles (13.40).  She holds multiple school records for many different events, they include:

*** 100 Meter Dash (11.87  – May 13,2017)

*** 200 Meter Dash (24.25 – April 27, 2018)

*** 100 Meter Hurdles (13.26 – April 26, 2019)

*** 4 x 100 Meter Relay (47.08 – May 12, 2018)
