DULUTH, MN – The University of Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey team has been home since Sunday morning, but officially hosted a public celebration on Tuesday at Romano Gym.

Head coach Scott Sandelin took the stage to a standing ovation. He delivered a thankful address to the packed crowd, emphasizing how happy he is to share it with the community.

“Just and unbelievable feeling to be back here a national champion, but more importantly for me as a head coach, it’s great to bring it back to Duluth, I’m excited for our community, our university, our alumni, and most importantly, these guys behind me,” said Sandelin during his speech.

“They get to share this the rest of their life and they’ll never forget it. So that’s what I’m excited about, I hope you guys are too, thank you guys for coming out.”
