BUFFALO, NY – The University of Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey team will open their third consecutive Frozen Four on Thursday night against Providence.

Junior wing Riley Tufte has been with the Bulldogs through all of those trips, and says he hasn’t taken any of it for granted.

“The guys are, we know what’s ahead of us, and we’re just trying to stay loose, and we know it’s just another game, another weekend for us, and trying to get two wins, so that might mean a little more than two wins during the season, but it’s an awesome feeling, but we’re happy to be here and ready to go,” said Tufte.

“We’re in an NHL building, obviously we had some fans watching and we usually don’t have that, so I think the guys are excited to be here and we know what’s ahead of us like I said, and we’re all just super excited to be here.”

KBJR 6’s David Coy will continue live coverage on Wednesday night in both the 6p.m. and 10p.m. reports.
