UMD sweeps Nebraska-Omaha in quarterfinals to advance to Frozen Faceoff

Duluth, MN – The University of Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey team won 4-1 over Nebraska-Omaha on Saturday night to secure the 2-0 series sweep over the Mavericks.

The Bulldogs advance to the NCHC Frozen Faceoff at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul next weekend, and will take the second lowest remaining seed.
