Rick Rickert’s #44 retired by Duluth East; Greyhounds fall to Blaine

DULUTH, MN – It was a very special day for Duluth East alum and former NBA player, Rick Rickert as his number 44 was retired before Duluth East’s home game this afternoon. Rickert was a three-year varsity captain, a Mcdonalds All-American, and was honored as Mr. Basketball in the greyhound’s 2001 state runner-up finish.

Duluth East lost to Blaine at home 71-58.
