#2 Minnesota tops UMD women 4-3 in overtime thriller

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The UMD women’s hockey team forced overtime in game one of the Minnesota Cup against #2 Minnesota. However, it was the Gophers who escaped with the 4 to 3 win.

Gabbie Hughes, Anna Klein, and Sydney Brodt would all score for the Bulldogs.

Olivia Knowles would net the game winner for the Gophers.

The Bulldogs will play Minnesota State-Mankato on Sunday.
