5 Yellowjackets earn UMAC awards

SUPERIOR,WI – After falling by a point in the UMAC tournament championship on Saturday, the UW-Superior  women’s basketball team is being recognized for a fantastic season.

Senior forward Hannah Norlin earned three different awards. She captured UMAC Player of the Year. Norlin and junior guard Eva Reinertsen were named to the first all-conference. Norlin and Taylor Kane were named to the UMAC all-defensive team.

Emily Carpenter joined the all-conference 2nd team. Head coach Zach Otto-Fisher was named Co-UMAC Coach of the Year.

UWS finished with its 4th straight regular season conference championship and a 24-3 record.
