DULUTH,MN – Many area high school athletes from the Northland are inking their National Letters of Intent to play at the college level.
At Duluth East, Tight End/Safety Anthony Provinzino is taking his talents to Southwest Minnesota State. The 2-year, 2 way starter is expected to play Wide Receiver. Provinzino led the Greyhounds in receptions, finishing last season with 29 catches, 399 yards and 5 touchdowns.
At Duluth Denfeld, Offensive Lineman Erik Nelson will stay local and head to UMD. Nelson was named Lineman of the Year by the Hunters football team. He says he can’t believe he will be playing for his hometown team.
