DULUTH,MN – St. Scholastica men’s hockey picked up its seventh straight win over the weekend. The impressive start has landed them on the USCHO division three poll. The Saints are now ranked 15th in the nation. They’ve been red hot, especially after upsetting #4 Adrian on Friday.

First year head coach Tim Madsen says the team has embraced him from the very beginning, but they’ve got a lot of work to do in the coming months.

“It’s just, it’s a sign of progressing. We want to be the best team in January and February, so it’s really nice right now to have some success, but we need to continue to put our foot down and push each week, because again, we want to be the best team in January and February. This is great, we want to keep pushing, but it’s not where we want to get to yet.” said Madsen.

St. Scholasta (6-1-1) will travel to Gustavus Adolphus on Friday.
