#11 UMD expects a different kind of team in Bemidji State

DULUTH, MN – UMD will look to pick up their 4th straight win Saturday night when they welcome in Bemidji  State. The all time rivalry series has the Bulldogs ahead 46-10-1 in the overall record. Last season, UMD came away with a 17-nothing victory in the snow.

Senior wide out Nate Ricci says this match is a change from their last three opponents.

“You know it’s going to be a bit different for the first three teams that we faced. They are much more physical, they are going to fly around and get after us a little bit. But, same with us, we are a lot different than the other teams that they have played, thus far so, over the years I just know that Bemidji is going to bring a battle to us, it is going to be a good game no matter who is up or down, whatever. It is going to be a four quarter battle so, I’m looking forward to it.” said Ricci.

You can catch the game on Saturday on the MY 9 Sports Network. Kickoff is set for 6:05 p.m.
