Douglas County Humane Society to celebrate pets Thursday

SUPERIOR, WI– Everyone loves pets, and they can actually play a big role in your mental health.

That’s why the Douglas County Humane Society is hosting an event taking time to celebrate pets and showing their gratitude.

Those who attend can make a Thank You card and construct a goodie bag for your pet, or for any of the pets still looking for a home.

The Humane Society also asks that if you are able to, to bring a donation for the pets who are waiting to improve the lives of their future families.

The event will take place from Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Douglas County Humane Society on Moccassin Mike Road in Superior.

Thursday’s event is part of NAMI-Douglas County, WI’s Mental Health Month events.
