HIBBING, MN– The Northland has been in the grip of a cold stretch the past week, cold enough where Hibbing made the record books.
Tuesday night, Hibbing dropped down to 5 degrees, which tied the record set back in 1962.
The average low temperature for November 5 is 22 degrees.
The cold stretch of weather is expected to last for the foreseeable future, with the potential for even colder and record-breaking temperatures early next week.
