2 children, 2 adults injured in St. Louis Co. crash

BUHL, MN — Authorities say four people are recovering from non-life threatening injuries, including two children, following a two-vehicle crash late Tuesday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Ram pick-up truck driven by Tron Brunson, 31, of Gastaonia, Georgia, was turning left from southbound Highway 169 to St. Louis County Road 453 around 10:40 a.m. near Buhl.

Authorities say the truck crossed the northbound lanes of 169 and hit a northbound Chrysler Town & Country van, driven by Jennifer Hipple, 36, of Eveleth.

The State Patrol says Hipple, as well as her nine-year-old and five-year-old passengers, were taken to UMCM in Hibbing for non-life threatening injuries.

In addition, authorities say Brunson was taken to Essentia Health in Virginia with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
