DULUTH, MN– A classic ride will soon return to its original home in Wisconsin.

Fire Chiefs from around the region gathered at the DECC this afternoon as the keys to this 1930’s antique REO Speed Wagon firetruck were handed back to the Wausaukee Community in Northeast Wisconsin.
The Minnesota State Fire Chief’s Association has owned the truck since the ’90s.
After declaring a surplus in antique fire vehicles they decided to find the community this one originally belonged to.
Members of the Wausaukee fire district expressed their gratitude during a ceremony today. This comes as the MSFCA conference is happening this week at the DECC.
