SUPERIOR, WI– The color pink took over the stands at the Superior vs. Denfeld volleyball game Tuesday night.

It was the annual Dig Pink game, raising money for the Side Out Foundation.

Side out is a volleyball term, meaning to gain control the ball.

The foundation helps people with breast cancer gain control of their lives.

Organizers say over the years, they’ve raised thousands of dollars to support people in our community with this deadly disease.

“Silent auction, we do raffle tickets. All the parents have done a great job of getting donations. All the local businesses have donated a lot of great stuff to be auctioned,” said Superior varsity volleyball coach Brenda Pluntz.

At the game they also honored breast cancer survivors and their families.
