Seventh person confirmed to die from vaping-related lung illness

TULARE COUNTY, CA– A seventh person has died from a vaping-related lung illness.

Health officials say the victim is from Tulare County, California, the second in the state.

The death comes as the CDC has announced that it has activated its “emergency operations center”.

It will coordinate the investigation into hundreds of cases of lung illnesses linked to e-cigarettes.

According to the CDC, there are at least 380 cases in 36 states and the US Virgin Islands.
