Moose Lake police chief put on leave

MOOSE LAKE, MN– Moose Lake’s police chief has been put on paid leave.

According to city officials, Chief Bryce Bogenholm, who has served as the department’s chief for the past nine years, was placed on leave on August 26.

City officials were unable to comment on the reason behind Bogenholm’s leave, but they said there is no investigation underway.

According to city officials, there is no timeline for Bogenholm’s return.

In the meantime, Sgt. Mike McNulty will serve as the department’s acting chief. McNulty has been with the department for 13 years.
