DULUTH, MN– You can sponsor a saint and help more students pursue a college education.

The College of St. Scholastica is holding a fundraiser for their scholarship fund.

The goal is to raise $500 for each incoming freshman next school year.

This is the first time the college is holding the “Sponsor a Saint” campaign.

They first started collecting donations a few weeks ago.

“Access to higher education and the academic mobility that creates for people in our community is so important. So anything we can do to alleviate the financial burden for our students in achieving a higher education, that’s amazing,” said Erin Kreeger, the college’s Annual Giving Officer.

The college hopes to make “Sponsor a Saint” an annual campaign.
