Superior School District to supply feminine products in restrooms this fall

SUPERIOR, WI — Students in Superior middle and high schools will now have an easier time accessing feminine supplies this school year.

Although the School District has always provided supplies in the nurse’s office, the supplies will now also be available in the restrooms.

District officials say they hope having the supplies in the restrooms will give students more privacy, and also address any barriers which can cause students to miss school.

Feminine products can be expensive for some families.

The District is providing the supplies, and will assess how of then they are used later this fall.
