Fake $10 bills circulating in Iron River

IRON RIVER, WI — Police are warning businesses and customers in Iron River, Wisconsin after receiving reports of fake bills being circulated in the area.

According to a social media post, police say a fake $10 bill was passed at an area store.

Iron River Police say the fake bills don’t have any of the security marks on them, and at least one of the bills found was marked as being used for a film.
