Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

IRONWOOD, MI– If you’re in and around parts of the U.P., you may see something that’s rather rare in this part of the area.

The Michigan DNR confirmed Monday that a cougar has been wandering across parts of the U.P. near the Ironwood area.

The cougar was caught on camera in Gogebic County on July 7.

This is the 39th confirmed cougar sighting in Michigan since 2008, and all but one of those sightings were in the U.P.
