Forecast not optimal for Perseid Meteor Shower

DULUTH, MN– Although the Perseid Meteor Shower will be happening Monday night into Tuesday morning, you won’t be able to see the show in person across the Northland.

That’s because a low pressure system will cause skies to become cloudy to mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers and a few thunderstorms.

If you still want to watch the meteor shower, you can click here for a stream of the event.

Space.com also says the best time to see the Perseids shower will be from around 10:00 p.m. through dawn Tuesday, with the overnight hours being the peak time.
