Benefit to be held for family of teen killed in Iron Range crash

NASHWAUK, MN — The family and friends of an Iron Range teen are coming together this weekend to honor his memory after he was killed in a car crash last month.

Aiden Hall, 16, and Trent Salminen, 13, died after a crash on Highway 169 near Nashwauk.

On Sunday, a benefit will be held to help raise money for Hall’s family at the Eagles Club in Grand Rapids.

In addition to food and drinks, there will be a silent auction, as well as a craft and bake sale.

The event runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
