Duluth nurses go before city council voicing concern

DULUTH, MN- Local members of the Minnesota nurses Association went before the city council to voice their concerns about hospital management.

Nurses from both Essentia Health and St. Lukes voiced concern regarding contract negotiations and issues with their facilities.

They have been negotiating with hospital management exchanging proposals but they feel as if they are not being heard.

These nurses decided to go before the council tonight because they want to make sure that the multi million dollar investment that is on the way will be going towards more care on the inside of the buildings.

Two- thirds from nurses from both facilities have signed petitions to get the hospital to fix these problems.
