UPDATE: Two teens killed in Iron Range crash identified

NASHWAUK, MN– Two teenagers are dead following a fatal crash in Itasca County Saturday afternoon.

The teens have been identified as 16-year-old Aiden Patrick Hall and 13-year-old Trent Casey Salminen.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the teens were traveling in a Honda Accord as passengers North on Highway 169, near Nashwauk, just before 3 p.m. Saturday, when the driver attempted a left-hand turn on to Highway 65 North.

The Honda Accord was then hit by a Chevy Cobra Camper that was traveling South.

Itasca County Sheriff, Nashwauk Fire rescue, and Nashwauk Police all responded to the scene.
