DULUTH, MN– Saturday morning, families had all-you-can-eat waffles and sausage all for a good cause.

The Duluth Police Foundation hosted a Superhero Waffle Breakfast at Clyde Iron Works to help purchase protective vests for the police department.

Visitors could tour the command post, watch K-9 demonstrations, and take photos with superheroes featured on the C-W.

Duluth Police Foundation Board Member, Peg Johnson says, “we thought that if we were at three or four hundred in terms of participation, that would make us very very happy. And I think we’ll exceed that today”

The department depends on this fundraiser to help purchase protective gear for its officers.
