DULUTH, MN- An anonymous donor has paid off all the school lunch debt at Piedmont Elementary School in Duluth.

The school says it was a generous gift to the school as part of the man’s Mother’s day gift to his wife. The donation totaled two thousand, two hundred and nine dollars.

Principal Beth Shermoen says they are very grateful for the donation.

“What this did for our school community and our district it kind of circulated within our community and it just left a really good feeling to know the goodness of people’s hearts out there,” said Shermoen.

Shermoen says that the generous donation impacted approximately 30 students.
