Superior Mayor Jim Paine warns residents to stay off the roads during storm in humorous Facebook post

SUPERIOR, WI — Mayor Jim Paine is joining other officials in warning residents to do whatever they can to stay off the roads over the next couple of days as we await the winter storm.

In a Facebook post, the Superior Mayor wrote that Superior was ready to deal with whatever snow might come with plows on standby but that they would need residents to help to avoid adding potholes by staying off the roads. The mayor also noted that in order to preserve grass, plows would not be clearing snow completely.

The mayor added humorously that “As your Mayor, I promise to once again deliver Spring… eventually.”
