ST. PAUL, MN — Duluth… get your cell phones ready.

Governor Tim Walz is calling on all Minnesotans to share the worst potholes in the state on social media.

It’s all part of his new “pothole tour,” which aims to draw attention to Minnesota’s crumbling roads and bridges.

Governor Walz is calling on people to join in an online conversation where people are encouraged to share their pothole nightmare stories using the hashtag #MNpotholes.

Walz hopes to shed light on the need for legislative action to fix the state’s aging and crumbling infrastructure. He has proposed a gas tax to help pay for the repairs.

The American Society of Civil Engineers recently graded Minnesota’s roads a D+.
