Flooding closes stretch of road in Duluth’s Morgan Park neighborhood

DULUTH, MN–The City of Duluth has closed a stretch of road in the Morgan Park neighborhood due to flooding from a nearby creek.

According to city leaders, the partial closure affects the area near 88th Avenue West and Grand Avenue.

Access to homes in the neighborhood is not impacted.

Drivers are being asked to use the Idaho Street entrance to Morgan Park.

City leaders will be closely monitoring the area, and crews will be on scene to attempt to clear the area of water and reopen the road as soon as possible.

No other roads have been closed as of Tuesday evening.

If you notice any large areas of standing water, you’re asked to call the Public Works Department at 218-730-4130.
