Duluth Police Officers receive yearly awards Thursday

Several Duluth Police officers were honored for their heroic actions during a special ceremony today.

The awards include the Meritorious Service Award awarded to officers who provide exceptional law enforcement service, Police Partnership Award which awards people outside of the police department for aiding the police in a situation, and the lifesaving awards.

Officer Michael Jambor was recognized as “Officer of the Year” by his peers for a years worth 2c464ec61bd24ba6901bb53cf43b9654of hard work and dedication in every case he worked.

It’s also worth mentioning that several of the officers who received lifesaving awards received them for administering Narcan.
