DULUTH, MN– St. Louis County dispatchers’ Christmas tree decorating contest gave back in a unique way.

A team of local 911 dispatchers used a K9 theme for their tree, creating a dog house with a tree on top.

The tree’s ornaments were customizable with a pet’s name, and a drawer held homemade dog treats for sale.

They raised $225, which they donated to the K-9 Foundation.
