St. Scholastica president to step down, search process begins

DULUTH, MN–The College of St. Schoalstica’s president plans to step down by the end of the year, and now, the college has started the process of finding her replacement.

The school announced Thursday Dr. Colette Geary will leave the college in order to spend more time with her family.

According to letter from the Board of Trustees, they are in process of selecting a national search consultant and establishing a presidential search committee to find their 13th president.

St. Scholastica officials did not have a timeline for the search process, and said they are in the beginning stages.
