Iditarod Trail Committee: “No Wrongdoing” by Dallas Seavey

The Iditarod Trail Committee Board of Directors says they do not believe Dallas Seavey had any involvement, or knowledge of, dogs testing positive for drugs after the 2017 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.

The trail committee report released Wednesday says Seavey committed no wrongdoing and whatever happened was completely beyond his control.

The committee president says they never officially placed blame on Seavey for the positive drug test of his four dogs in 2017, and they apologize to him for any negative publicity.

Since the incident, the committee says additional safety precautions have been implemented along the trial.
