Area teams to celebrate 25 years of Girls Hockey in Minnesota Tuesday

DULUTH, MN– The 2018-2019 season marks the 25th year of Girls High School Hockey in Minnesota.

Tuesday night, the Duluth Northern Stars and the Proctor-Hermantown Mirage will square off and to celebrate the 25th anniversary. All alumni from the Duluth Girls Hockey team, the Duluth icebreakers and current players are welcome as the guests to the game.

Players and coaches from the 1999 Duluth Dynamite team, who finished fourth in the state high school hockey tournament, will be on hand as well.

The game will take place on December 4 at the Essentia Duluth Heritage Center.

The JV game will begin at 5:15 p.m. and the varsity game follows at 7:30 p.m.
