SLIDESHOW: People wake up to early snow fall across the Northland

DULUTH, MN — The season’s first snowfall fell during the overnight hours on Wednesday throughout the area.

As much as five inches of snow fell, causing slippery roads and messy conditions for drivers.

Cook and Side Lake saw the most snow, with five inches.

Orr, International Falls, and Nashwauk all saw three inches or more, with Mckinley coming in at a little less than three inches.
