Daniel Weatherly

Weatherly says his view of the current city management is that the city is lacking management, transparency and accountability.

According to his website, there is an issue with evaluating priorities, and says the city has put bike lanes, LED street lights and lake walk repair ahead of people dying from the opioid epidemic, as well as citizens sleeping on the street.

His site also says a discussion needs to be started about the correlation between crime, drugs, property taxes, and affordable housing, and hos it is resulting in the gentrification of low income neighborhoods.

In addition, his site says his priorities as mayor include addressing the accountability of government spending with checks and balances.
